Today I saw [REC]. It's a Spanish horror film that I would really urge you to see if you're a fan of the genre. Already there's a Hollywood version, Quarantine, where the trailer spoils the end of [REC]. What the hell? Remakes bad.

I'm gonna try and see The Oxford Murders (which has Burn Gorman in). Also I want to see Pathology (this has Milo Ventimiglia in).

On the other hand, new Who tomorrow and drooling over John Barrowman on I'll Do Anything. That sounds a lot better than it is!

I taught my mum how to use torrents! And left detailed instructions :D Whether or not she uses them is a different matter..

Going back to uni tomorrow. If I can't fix my laptop you may not hear from me until my housemates come back on Saturday and/or Sunday.

Was playing on my wii now my arm hurts. Stupid tennis!

The guest host was David Tennant (probably in preparation for DW4 starting on the 5th) and it was hillarious. Kissing between David and both the (male) hosts. Declarations of love, and much more slashy goodness including fanfic. There was Doctor/Martha (meh) and Doctor/Jack, which David claimed was from John Barrowman's blog :D

There's a secret spy plane helicopter thing outside my house. Okay we don't actually know what it is but it's loud and freaky and what is it?! Also earthquake (5.2) in the early hours on the morning. What's going on? I'm tending to go with Laura's theory.. we're being invaded by aliens. Which would explain what David Tennant is doing at my uni. Well okay it just looks like him from certain angles, and if you don't look too long, but it makes me smile.

I passed my driving theory test! YAY!

On Friday I went to see Sweeney Todd. I enjoyed it, although Depp probably shouldn't sing but that didn't change the fact that he's nice to look at. I don't know what I was expecting from the film but I certainly got something different. Not bad but.. I think it coud've been better.

Later that night we had the fire brigade, landlord, police and environmental officers round because next door started another fire. They burn the plastic coating off of wire to get to the metal which is illegal. We suspect that they stole the lead flashing off our roof which is why we have a huge leak and an unusable room. Bastards.

Yesterday we went out for a friends 21st. I totally lost at bowling. But then I got a chance to go to laser quest which I've never done before and it was awesome. Although.. I went up a ramp and was hiding round a corner and I kept leaning around it and shooting the other team without them realising where it was coming from. Then they spotted me and I started backing up and tripped over my own feet and fell down the ramp. Whoops. I found it hilarious (as did my friends) and one of the guys we went with shot me then! How rude! I am just that clumsy and uncoordinated though.

I spent five days at _profiterole_'s which was really fun.

We
-went around some shops, looking at the pretty manga.
-went to the cinema and saw 'I Am Legand' which I really enjoyed.
-watched Traveler; it's a shame it was cancelled since it was fun to watch and the OT3ness of it is wonderful <3
-watched The Covenant which I'd never seen but was really fun. I didn't like the spiders though :( Zombies are much better.
-showed each other gayness on youtube. I may have been forcing her to watch lots of Top Gear stuff *is obsessed*

All in all it was really fun and I miss her already (but at least my keyboard has the keys in the right places! :P )

I am so so happy and bouncy. He is so wonderful in real life <3 His hair looked so soft and I was just itching to molest it, but I restrained, and he has a wonderful smile. I gave him a pack of American Hard Gums (his favourite sweets) and his expression was just.. *love* I got a nice message (yes I know he wrote the same for everyone but it was still nice and it has a 'x' on the end. I really wanted a kiss on the end!) And I have a photo but it's really bad :( It was totally worth it, and y'know the book isn't bad as well ^_^

So I moved into the house last Sunday and I'm all settled now. There are a few more things to get but overall all is well. Had to go in today and was there for 20mins, what a great start! Got my timetable though:

It's not a bad timetable for the most part, although I will miss having a 3 day weekend I won't be stuck at uni late on a Friday which sometimes happened last year. I do get a few Thursdays off which is swell. I think next term will be the same except on a Thursday I'll have Analytical and Organic practicals.

Christmas break is 21st December until 14th January, which I think is weird. I'd much prefer finishing a week earlier and coming back earlier. Well I think it's because we started a week later compared to last year.

I think that's everything? Oh! I DLed something last night and the speed was amazing! This makes me very happy.. just need to decide what to DL first.. (yes _profiterole_ I did have a plan.. I like making them, I just don't tend to follow them. Although I have written my CV. I just need to go over it to make sure it doesn't suck).

Mum joined a darts team tonight that some of her friends from work are a part of. I went along and ended up being coerced into playing to make the numbers even. It was best out of three and I won my first game, lost both the others. I admit I had help in the 'strategy' department but otherwise my own efforts, and people said that I did well! *beams* Me being who I am now wants to play darts more often!

Not much has happened here, just been working and trying to do little things to get ready to go back to Huddersfield. I go a week on Sunday and I'm worried I'll be the last one there. Well, not to worry. More I should be worrying about the packing.. I hate it.

Hopefully I'm gonna have a transfer so I can keep on working (but I'm a little worried that I'm not gonna be flexible enough, since I only want to work Monday and Wednesday, and I don't want to finish too late because I have to walk back and that'll take about half an hour and it's dark and I don't know the area). If I do have a job I'm gonna spend some of my student loan on a Wii and new glasses. Sod the uni related stuff!

Got back from Prague a couple of days ago, to a lack of internet. Very annoying. We're working on getting it sorted but it's gonna be at least three days from what I understand. Read people's comments but don't have time to reply until I get the 'net at home. The internet cafe here is expensive, and the keyboard is weird *laughs*

Going on holiday tomorrow! Exciting stuff! Going to Prague with my mum and sister, which will be fun (even if the flight is early in the morning). I was gonna send emails/comments today but we ended up going out and I'm too tired/intoxicated to do so now. Better news; went to Manchester today to see my sister, bought some manga, a gun for my PS2 with a couple of games. Saw Harry Potter, which wasn't so bad. I really wanna see Rush Hour 3 when it comes out. Was meant to be going to see Transformers tomorrow but.. *points to the first sentance* I can't be bothered dealing with him/trying to arrange anything.

Worse news; my cat has fleas. Stupid thing. How'd she catch them when she spends all her time sleeping in the house? Well logic dictates it could be any of the three cats that are our neghbours, or else the field nearby. Still.. pain in the arse.

Now sleep. Work tomorrow *groans*

Saw this trailer at the cinema last night. I can't wait for it! Start of September according to IMDB. Although it'll be a shame to see Simon Pegg without Nick Frost. Plus it's not a project that Simon Pegg has written (although apparently he did a re-write) unlike Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz.. so that might be weird. Also it'll be nice to see Dylan Moran in something again.

I got back a couple of hours ago from Paris. Went to stalk visit _profiterole_ and had such a wonderful time.

Travelling to and from was a pain, with delays and missteps, but in the end got there (and home) okay.

We watched a few things.. Ai no Kusabi which I enjoyed. Although the ending.. :( We also watched the Prince of Tennis live action which was totally gay ^_^ As was the musical we watched; which was a nice balance between gayness and crack.

Also on Saturday we went round lots of manga shops, fangirling over book covers and posters. Next day we went to watch Hot Fuzz, which I was happy to see at the cinema since I didn't get to see it here in England.

Plus fangirling over Nightrunner.. everyone should go read it now!

But I want to be back there!
